# Fauna

Fauna is one account, one API key and one prepaid wallet for six products: Parrot, Marmot, Ant, Magpie, Cicada and Termite. Sign in once and every product knows you; they share your credits, your groups and your files.

## Credits and billing

- Prepaid, by the call: add credit once and spend it in any product. Every call is metered at its own price and drawn from the same balance.
- $1 free every month: every free account gets $1 of credit when it signs up and again at the start of each month. Credit stacks on the balance.
- Premium adds $5 of credit with each paid invoice. Add ons that apps sell join the same subscription.
- Groups pay for their members: a group's calls bill the group's wallet, and every group gets $1 of its own each month.

## SDKs

- TypeScript (`fauna-api`), for Node and the browser: every product and every route, the same calls Fauna's own apps are built on.
- Rust (`fauna-api` crate): async on Tokio with typed results and errors, mirroring the TypeScript SDK file by file and function by function.
